Ancient artifacts discovered in Jalilabad during park construction

In Jalilabad, ancient artifacts were discovered during earthworks for park construction on the territory known as "Nar baghy" (Pomegranate Garden).

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, household jugs and other material-cultural samples from an ancient period were found during the works.

Staff members of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of Azerbaijan are present at the excavation site.

It is noted that a precise conclusion about the age and historical value of the discovered items will be possible only after the relevant analyses are conducted.
