Building collapse occurred in Turkey

A multi-story residential building collapsed in the city of Gebze, located approximately 60 kilometers from Istanbul.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Gazeta.ru, this was announced by the NTV channel.

According to journalists, emergency service personnel are working at the incident site. It is known that metro line construction works are being carried out near the collapsed building.

As clarified by the A-Haber channel, about six people may be trapped under the rubble. The mayor of Gebze, Zinnur Büyükgöz, told CNN-Turk that two families lived in the house - a total of seven people. However, it is still unknown whether they were inside at the moment of the collapse.
