What should Azerbaijanis in the Russian Federation do if they are forcibly sent to the front?

Many Azerbaijanis living in different cities of Russia find themselves drawn into the Russian-Ukrainian war. Some do it for promised payments and benefits, others - under pressure, facing threats and risk of deportation.

There are already cases of deaths - the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families.

Competent authorities urge everyone who faces such situations to immediately contact the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation and other relevant structures.

Special attention is paid to the need for wide publicity of such cases.
