US President promised a decrease in gasoline prices after the end of the war with Iran
US President Donald Trump stated that after the war with Iran is over, gasoline prices in the United States will drop below the level recorded before the conflict began.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the American leader made this statement at a rally of Republican Party supporters in the state of Kentucky ahead of the November midterm elections to the US Congress.
"This war will end very soon. And when it's over, gas prices will drop and will be lower than before it started," Trump said.
Meanwhile, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA), as of October 17, the average cost of a gallon of gasoline (3.78 liters) in the US is $4.3. Two days before the start of the conflict with Iran, this figure was at $2.98.
The cost of diesel fuel is about $6.52 per gallon, which is approximately $2.41 higher than the same period last year.
