Explosions are heard in southern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz

Sounds of explosions were heard in the area of the city of Sirik in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan.

As reported by TASS, local residents heard sounds of explosions in the Kohestak area and several parts of Sirik.

The city of Sirik is located on the coast of the Gulf of Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz. No information about the causes of the explosions, possible damage, or casualties has been reported so far.
