U-23 World Championship: Two more Azerbaijani wrestlers win medals

Two more Azerbaijani athletes won medals at the U-23 World Wrestling Championship in Las Vegas.

As reported by BAKU.WS, freestyle wrestlers Anar Jafarli (92 kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125 kg) won bronze medals.

A. Jafarli defeated Italian Gabriele Niccolini (10:0) in the bronze medal match, while K. Karsanov proved stronger than Russian Andrey Bestayev - 8:1.

It should be recalled that earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Elmir Aliyev (60 kg) won a silver medal and Ruslan Nurullayev (77 kg) won a bronze medal. In women's wrestling, Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) won silver at the World Championship.
