Trump's secret plan for a truce with Iran revealed

US President Donald Trump agreed to a ceasefire with Iran solely to regroup forces in the Middle East.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Lenta.ru, the White House leader's plan for the truce was revealed by retired US Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis on his social media page on X.

"It appears that he agreed to the truce in order to reload weapons on aircraft and ships. This only reinforces his reputation as someone who deceives his negotiating partners, making them believe he is conducting diplomacy honestly, when in reality he is preparing for a new attack," he stated.

In his opinion, Tehran also expects a trick from Washington and has already prepared a response.

Earlier, Distinguished Professor of History and research fellow at the Center for International Studies (CERIUM) at the University of Montreal Yakov Rabkin noted that the Trump administration faces a choice due to the conflict in the Middle East: either pressure Israel and force it to comply with the ceasefire with Iran, or withdraw from the conflict.
