Trump Issued a New Condition to Europe
World 10

US President Donald Trump stated that he expects to achieve the relocation of European production to the United States through fifty percent tariffs.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to 1prime.ru, the head of state made this statement while speaking to journalists in the Oval Office of the White House.

"I don't expect a trade deal with Europe. Either companies move production to the US, or they will pay tariffs," Trump noted.

According to him, European companies will be able to avoid tariffs if they locate factories on US territory.

"We already have almost 12 trillion dollars coming into the country's (budget). No president has had such figures - not in one year, not in two, not in three," the American president emphasized.

He added that the proposed tariff policy is not aimed at confrontation, but creates an incentive for returning industrial capacity and jobs to the American economy.
