Trump declared that he defeated Iran

US President Donald Trump stated that his country has achieved victory over Iran but will continue the military operation "to finish what was started."

As reported by Oxu.Az, this was announced by the Reuters agency.

"Let me say that we have won. You never want to declare victory too early. We have won. It was all over in the first hour," Trump said, speaking at a campaign rally in Hebron, Kentucky.

Nevertheless, according to the American president, the US will continue the military operation against Iran in order to "finish what was started" and "not come back every two years."

"We don't want to leave too early, do we? We have to finish what we started," the agency quotes Trump as saying.
