Trump commented on the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping

It is good that Chinese President Xi Jinping is meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As Reuters reports, this was stated by American leader Donald Trump.

The U.S. president admitted that he had been watching the ceremony of his Russian counterpart's reception in China. "I watched," Trump told reporters, referring to the televised broadcast of the meeting with Putin, who had arrived on a visit to Beijing.

He also noted that he would speak with the leader of Taiwan. "I'll talk to him. I talk to everybody... We're going to work on it, on the Taiwan issue," the American leader said.

From May 13 to 15, Trump made a trip to Beijing. During the visit, he discussed trade, Taiwan, Iran, and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict with Xi Jinping.
