The White House has denied reports about the possibility of a pause in the introduction of tariffs

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt called reports that American leader Donald Trump is considering implementing a 90-day pause on import tariffs a lie.

She wrote about this on X.

"Fake news," the press secretary noted.

Note that earlier, CNBC reported that the head of the National Economic Council at the White House, Kevin Hassett, allegedly stated that the US administration is considering the possibility of a 90-day pause on the application of import tariffs for all countries except China.
