The next Russian-American meeting will take place in Istanbul

Consultations between Russia and the US are expected in Istanbul on April 10.

As TASS reports, this was confirmed by the agency's source.

"April 10 is the target date," he said, answering the corresponding question.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the Russian delegation at the second round of consultations between Russia and the US in Istanbul will be headed by Ambassador to Washington Alexander Darchiev, while the American delegation will be led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Sonata Coulter.

The previous Russian-American consultations took place in Istanbul on February 27.
