The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have eliminated Basij militia commander Gholamreza Soleimani in Tehran, Voice of Israel reports.
"The Israeli Air Force carried out a precision strike in central Tehran and eliminated Gholamreza Soleimani, who had headed the Basij unit for the past six years," the army's press service said in a statement.
