The Iraqi army has been placed on full combat readiness

The press secretary of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Sabah al-Numan, stated that the country's Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi "issued orders to increase vigilance and maximum readiness of the armed forces."

This is reported by Middle East Eye.

The decision also includes accelerating plans to equip and arm the army with modern radar systems, early detection systems, and air defense systems.

Earlier, the United States and Saudi Arabia struck bases belonging to "Hashd al-Shaabi" — an alliance that is integrated into Iraq's armed forces.
