The Ambassador of Iran to Armenia made an absurd statement

Iran's Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Yerevan, made an absurd statement about opening transport communications in the South Caucasus.

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Free Iran".

"If Azerbaijan can establish communication with Nakhchivan, then Armenia should also have such an opportunity. If Azerbaijani citizens can travel to Nakhchivan by land through Armenia, then Armenian citizens should receive equal rights - that is, to travel through Nakhchivan to Iran," the diplomat said at a press conference in Yerevan.
