Strong earthquake in Istanbul: the number of injured has increased

Nearly 240 Turkish citizens were injured during an earthquake in the Istanbul area and its surroundings on Wednesday.
According to Turkish media, this was reported by Turkey's Minister of Health Kemal Memisoglu at the operational headquarters of the Department of Emergency Situations.
"A total of 236 of our citizens were injured after the earthquake, mainly due to jumping out of buildings in panic. Of these, 173 were directly in Istanbul," said the head of the department.
He added that most of the victims did not require hospitalization: "They were provided assistance on the spot."
