Scholz comments on Trump's intentions against EU
The European Commission is ready to respond promptly to possible US tariffs on goods from the European Union.
According to Prime, this was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"I'm betting on cooperation, not confrontation... But if the US still decides to impose tariffs, the European Commission can respond within hours," he noted.
Scholz emphasized that globalization benefits Germany as an industrially developed export country, and this position should be maintained.
According to him, the European Union must act as a united front, demonstrating its strength and ability to take countermeasures.
