Rutte: US Military Operation in Iran Is at an Initial Stage

The US military operation in Iran is in its initial stage and may take several weeks.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on the air of the British Broadcasting Corporation BBC.

"This is an early stage of the [military] campaign. It will take days, possibly weeks, before it is over," he said.

In an interview with Fox News, the Secretary General also noted that he supports the US military operation against Iran.

According to him, the elimination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the destruction of nuclear capabilities, as well as Iran's ballistic missile program is very important.
