Russia declares a ceasefire from the night of May 8 to May 10

The Russian side declares a ceasefire with Ukraine from 00:00 on May 8 to May 10 on the occasion of Victory Day celebrations.

"In accordance with the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, during the celebration of the 81st anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, from zero hours on May 8 to May 10, the Russian side declares a ceasefire," they said.
