Russia commented on Azerbaijan's new decision about the downed AZAL aircraft

Moscow will take a wait-and-see position if Baku appeals to international courts regarding the AZAL plane crash near Aktau.
As TASS reports, this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, during a briefing.
"An investigation is underway, and the circumstances are still being clarified. If Azerbaijan decides to file a lawsuit, it is their right, and we will wait for official decisions," Peskov noted.
Earlier, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced that the country is preparing documents to appeal to international courts in connection with the crash of the Embraer 190 passenger airliner, owned by AZAL airline, near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.
