Rubio: Trump Will Personally Participate in the NATO Summit in Ankara
US President Donald Trump will participate in the NATO heads of state summit in Ankara.
As reported by Anadolu, this was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, speaking in the US Congress.
Rubio noted that the upcoming meeting could become the most important in the history of the alliance, as a number of issues need to be clarified and resolved within its framework. According to the Secretary of State, despite the US maintaining its membership, NATO needs significant changes.
"The United States still remains in NATO, and we will be there," he said.
