Oil refinery in the UAE suspended operations due to fire
The Borouge petrochemical plant in Abu Dhabi has temporarily suspended operations due to several fires that broke out when debris from intercepted aerial targets fell on the facility.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the authorities of the UAE capital.
"The competent authorities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are extinguishing several fires that broke out at the Borouge petrochemical plant as a result of falling fragments from targets intercepted by air defense systems," the statement said.
According to the information, there are no casualties at this time, and a damage assessment is being conducted at the facility.
