Media: US struck airport in Jiroft in southern Iran

The civilian airport of the city of Jiroft, located in Kerman Province in southern Iran, was struck by the United States.

This was reported by the Iranian state broadcasting company IRIB.

Earlier, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported carrying out a series of strikes on targets in Iran. According to Press TV, a series of explosions occurred along Iran's southern coast, including Qeshm Island and a number of coastal cities.
