Media: Ukrainian delegation heads to the USA for talks with Whitkoff

The Ukrainian negotiating team is on its way to the USA to continue negotiations with the American delegation on the peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

The delegation includes the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, and the head of the "Servant of the People" faction David Arakhamia.

The Ukrainian delegation intends to hold negotiations with US President Donald Trump's advisers Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the coming days.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky earlier announced meetings between the Ukrainian delegation and Trump's representatives in the United States in the coming days. He noted that it is necessary to finalize some materials regarding security guarantees and the recovery package. According to him, if everything is finalized, it will be possible to sign agreements during the World Economic Forum in Davos next week.
