Media: Trump is ready to lift restrictions on strikes against Russia

US President Donald Trump during a recent meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is considering the possibility of lifting restrictions on Ukraine's use of American long-range weapons, however he did not make any specific promises.

According to the publication's sources, Zelensky asked Trump to provide more long-range weapons and remove existing restrictions. In response, the American leader noted that he is open to such an idea but did not confirm that he would make such a decision.

The publication emphasizes that Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth and his deputy Elbridge Colby are handling the issue of Ukraine's use of American weapons. Since spring, they have been restricting Kyiv's use of ATACMS missiles.
