Media learned where and when Putin and Trump might meet

The meeting of the presidents of the USA and Russia, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, is scheduled for the end of next week (August 11-17).

This is reported by Sky News channel.

According to an unnamed White House representative, the summit venue is still being discussed, with possible options including the UAE, Hungary, Switzerland, and Rome.

Sky News writes that further details and logistics are "not yet clear and quite fluid." The exact date of the meeting between the American and Russian presidents remains unknown, as does whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate.

Meanwhile, the channel's source stated that the Russian side has provided a list of demands for a possible ceasefire, and now the US is trying to secure support from Ukraine and European allies. Earlier, Bloomberg reported on the preparation of an agreement for settlement ahead of the Putin-Trump summit. According to the agency, it involves Kyiv giving up some territories. At the same time, Moscow must stop its offensive in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions along the current front lines. Bloomberg's sources warned that the terms of the agreement are not finalized and may change.
