"Lukoil" plans to sell foreign assets due to sanctions against the company.
As Oxu.Az reports, this was stated in a message from the Russian company.
"PJSC "Lukoil" announces that in connection with the introduction of restrictive measures by several countries against the company and its subsidiaries, the company announces its intention to sell its international assets. The review of applications from potential buyers has begun," the statement says.
The sale of assets is carried out in accordance with a license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department (OFAC) for winding down operations. If necessary, the company plans to apply for an extension of the license to ensure the smooth operation of its international assets, the company noted.
