Iran's authorities urged Tehran residents to leave the capital

Iran's National Security Council has urged Tehran residents to leave the capital amid American-Israeli strikes, Al Jazeera TV channel reports.

In light of the current situation, "you should, as much as possible and while remaining calm, travel to other locations and cities, if you are able to do so," its statement reads.
