Iran struck Israeli air bases Nevatim and Tel Nof
Iran struck two Israeli military bases.
This was stated in a declaration by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of Iran's armed forces).
According to the text, the contents of which were reported by the Iranian television channel Al Alam, the attacks targeted the Nevatim airbase located in the south of the Jewish state, as well as the Tel Nof airbase near Tel Aviv. It was noted that the strikes were carried out in response to actions by the Israeli side.
The IRGC assured that Iran's military "is ready to conduct operations on all fronts" and has prepared response options for any actions by the adversary.
As a reminder, the situation in the Middle East escalated sharply after IDF strikes on Beirut on June 7. Iran then launched a series of ballistic missiles at Israel. Tel Aviv responded in kind and attacked targets on the territory of the Islamic Republic.
