Hakan Fidan stated that violation of Turkey's airspace is unacceptable
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that Iran's violation of the republic's airspace is unacceptable and noted that Ankara would take retaliatory measures in this regard.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was reported by a TASS source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
"Minister Fidan emphasized that the violation of Turkey's airspace is unacceptable and that it will continue to take all necessary retaliatory measures. He also stated that all parties [to the conflict] must refrain from actions that could disrupt regional security and pose a threat to the civilian population," the source noted.
"Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the missiles directed into Turkish airspace were not launched from Iranian territory and that a comprehensive investigation would be conducted on this matter," the agency's interlocutor said.
