Georgian footballers robbed in Cannes
Georgian national team footballers Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Zuriko Davitashvili were robbed in Cannes.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Geo Team, the athletes had their jewelry, watches, and bags stolen, but the players themselves were not harmed.
Recall that 24-year-old Kvaratskhelia won the Champions League with "PSG". In the tournament final, the French club defeated Italian "Inter" with a score of 5:0. In the 2024/25 season, Khvicha played 27 matches for "PSG" in all tournaments and scored seven goals. Previously, he played in the Russian championship for "Rubin" and Moscow "Lokomotiv".
Davitashvili (24 years old) has been playing for French "Saint-Étienne" since the summer of 2024. In the past season, he played 34 matches and scored nine goals. During his career, Zuriko also played in the Russian championship for "Rubin", Volgograd "Rotor", and Tula "Arsenal".
