Former king of Spain confessed to brother's murder
Former King of Spain Juan Carlos I admitted that he accidentally killed his own brother.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is according to the Daily Mail publication.
According to the newspaper, the tragedy occurred in 1956, when the future monarch was 18 years old. Juan Carlos and his brother Alfonso found a pistol and, believing it was not loaded, began playing with it.
"A shot rang out, the bullet ricocheted and hit Alfonso directly in the forehead. He died in his father's arms," - quotes an excerpt from the memoirs portal 360.ru.
At the time of death, Juan Carlos's brother was only 14 years old. After the tragedy, the relationship between Juan and his father, the Count of Barcelona Juan de Bourbon, was permanently damaged, and the future king's life was forever divided into "before" and "after".
