Five nurses on the same floor of a hospital were simultaneously diagnosed with brain tumors

An alarming case has been recorded at the maternity ward of Newton-Wellesley Hospital, located on the fifth floor of the medical facility, where 11 staff members have been found to have serious health problems, reports NBC News.
Of particular concern is the fact that five nurses have been diagnosed with benign brain tumors. Two staff members have been diagnosed with meningiomas. The hospital administration has issued an official statement: "The investigation conducted did not identify any environmental risk factors that could have triggered the development of brain tumors."
A special commission thoroughly examined various potential causes of the diseases. Experts ruled out the influence of the water supply system, the use of disposable masks, exposure to chemotherapy drugs, and X-ray radiation from the lower floor.
However, the Massachusetts Nurses Association, which represents the interests of Newton-Wellesley Hospital medical workers in compensation negotiations, is not satisfied with the results and intends to continue its own investigation of the incident.
The American Cancer Society commented on the situation: "There is nothing unusual about several people in a relatively small area developing cancer at approximately the same time."
