Elon Musk launched "Grokipedia" as an alternative to "Wikipedia"
The American company xAI, owned by businessman Elon Musk, has launched a new internet resource "Grokipedia," which, according to its creator, should compete with "Wikipedia." This was announced by Elon Musk on his social network X.
"Grokipedia.com version 0.1 is already available. Version 1.0 will be 10 times better, but even in version 0.1 it is, in my opinion, better than Wikipedia," Musk wrote.
As of 05:50 Moscow time, the "Grokipedia" database contains 885,279 articles. As The Washington Post notes, the structure of the entries resembles the familiar "Wikipedia," however, the resource looks more compact, the internal mechanisms are less transparent, and the selection and presentation demonstrates a pronounced right-wing bias. As sources, "Grokipedia" provides official resources, but a large proportion consists of media publications.
