Cigarette sales are falling: what are tobacco giants betting on?

Global tobacco product manufacturers, noting a significant decrease in demand for cigarettes and tobacco in general, are actively investing in the production of "white snus" - pouches based on synthetic nicotine in the fight to maintain profits.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Financial Times, this is causing concern among medical professionals who emphasize that the harm from this form of nicotine consumption has not been fully studied and may in some ways be higher than from traditional tobacco.
Politicians and public figures in many countries use "white snus." The elected president of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, caused a scandal during debates by using a nicotine pouch on camera during a broadcast. US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. also does not hide that he uses this method of obtaining nicotine.
Medical professionals and health authorities in different countries are calling for tougher policies regarding nicotine pouches.
