Bangladesh is experiencing an unprecedented dengue outbreak: 12 dead

Bangladesh records highest number of deaths from dengue fever in a single day - 12 people died in one day.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Dhaka Tribune.
Since the beginning of the year, the total number of dengue victims has reached 179. Over 2 thousand patients are currently receiving treatment in the country's medical facilities. Fatal cases have been registered in different regions. The number of infected people since the beginning of the year has exceeded 48 thousand.
Medical professionals warn that the situation is developing faster than in 2024, when 575 people died from dengue in Bangladesh. Specialists insist on active measures to combat the mosquito population - the main carriers of the disease, as well as on the need to strengthen the readiness of hospitals to receive a large number of patients.
