Armenian-Turkish border will open for 11 days
Armenia will open the "Margara" border crossing on the Armenian-Turkish border from March 21 to 31 for the transportation of humanitarian aid to Syria through Turkish territory.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this decision was made by the Armenian government at a meeting on March 20.
"The government amended the decree of May 12, 2011 on border crossings, which indicated that the 'Margara' checkpoint was closed. The draft was developed by the Prime Minister's office. They noted that its adoption will allow faster and less expensive delivery of cargo to Syria," the information states.
The last time this border crossing was opened was from February 11 to 17, 2023, to send humanitarian aid to Turkey after the earthquake.
