American military personnel arrived in Israel

U.S. military personnel have begun arriving in Israel to monitor compliance with settlement conditions.

This is reported by CNN, citing sources in the Pentagon.

Some of the military personnel arrived from Middle Eastern countries, others - from U.S. commands in other regions. The American contingent of 200 people will arrive in Israel at full strength by October 12. It is expected that establishing the U.S. monitoring center in the sector will take several days or weeks.

Its task has been stated as "avoiding chaos and ensuring coordinated work of humanitarian structures".
