A United States Navy (USN) strike group led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln has entered the Arabian Sea.

This was reported by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social network X.

"The USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, accompanied by two supply vessels and two U.S. Coast Guard cutters, conducted a joint transit through the Arabian Sea today," the statement said.

CENTCOM added that military aircraft flew over the ships.

On January 28, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. Navy had sent a major Armed Forces group led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the Middle East. He warned Tehran about the possible use of force if Iranian authorities refuse to conclude an agreement. However, the details of this potential agreement with the Islamic Republic were not disclosed by the head of the White House.
