A Canadian woman told how her three-minute cardiac arrest greatly affected her life.

As BAKU.WS reports, this is written by The Mirror.

Kelly Elwains felt shortness of breath and lung problems, after which she called an ambulance. Shortly after the call, she lost consciousness.

The medical team tried to resuscitate Elwains for three minutes. During this period, as the woman claims, she felt as if she was leaving her body: she lost the sense of her own personality, but at the same time gained a new feeling of awareness.

"I found myself in a space outside of time, as if in a universe filled with tiny lights," she shared.

After some time, the woman regained consciousness.
