A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck central Turkey.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 46 km north of the city of Tokat, which has a population of approximately 129 thousand people.
The hypocenter was at a depth of 6 km.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
