What consequences await Earth after a solar flare of the highest class

There was no solar plasma ejection towards Earth after the highest class flare recorded on Wednesday night. This was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, according to BAKU.WS with reference to TASS.
"Serious consequences for Earth are ruled out. The flare likely occurred deep in the Sun's atmosphere and was almost completely shielded by powerful magnetic fields. Frontal plasma ejections towards Earth have not been detected. Small signs of mass ejections were noticed only on the right edge of the Sun and are directed away from our planet," the statement says.
Earlier, the Institute of Applied Geophysics confirmed to TASS the fact of an X1.2 class flare that occurred on the night of June 18.
