TikTok introduces strict control: parents will be able to restrict content for teenagers

Social network TikTok announced the release of several new features, including improved parental controls, reported the TechCrunch portal.
This refers to the Pairing option, which will allow parents' accounts to be linked with a teenager's account (users aged 16-17 are mentioned) to configure safety parameters. As a result, older relatives will be able to block certain accounts that the child watches. They will automatically receive notifications when a teenager posts a public video, story, or photo. TikTok states that this will help parents stay informed about what the minor is publishing in a timely manner, according to TechCrunch.
Also, adults can now better control the privacy settings chosen by teenagers: see whether the young user has allowed their content to be downloaded or whether their subscription list is visible to others.
