A common mistake that everyone makes when cooking chicken

Fried or boiled chicken is one of the most versatile dishes. First, it goes well with any side dish - vegetables, pasta, grains, or salads. Second, it's quite simple to prepare.
However, as it turns out, many people make a serious mistake when preparing this simple dish. Apparently, before cooking, chicken needs to be soaked in salt water.
Famous chef Marcus Samuelsson shared the correct technique for preparing chicken meat:
"Prepare a salt solution in a 1:2 ratio. Use one cup of salt for two cups of water. After the salt is completely dissolved, add six more cups of cold water. Then place the chicken in this solution and leave it in the refrigerator for at least an hour and a half. Only after this will the meat be ready for frying or boiling."
According to the chef, this process is necessary to make the meat as tender as possible and literally melt in your mouth.
