Turkey's national team qualified for the World Cup after 24 years

The Turkish national football team has qualified for the final stage of the World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

As reported by BAKU.WS, in the decisive playoff match in the European zone, the Turks defeated the Kosovo national team away with a score of 1:0.

The only goal was scored in the 53rd minute by Kerem Aktürkoğlu.

Thus, the Turkish national team has earned a spot in the final stage of the World Cup after 24 years. The last time the Turkish team played at the World Cup was in 2002, when they finished third in the tournament.
