Road police addressed drivers in connection with "Formula-1"

The State Road Police Department of Baku has issued an appeal to drivers regarding the upcoming Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix.

"Due to traffic restrictions on some streets and avenues because of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix starting tomorrow, in order to ensure road safety and prevent traffic congestion, especially at the southern entrance to the capital, drivers are advised to use alternative routes.

When traveling from the south to the city center, towards the "Azneft" roundabout and Neftchilar Avenue, it is suggested to follow the third outer ring road, turning onto it at the 14th kilometer of the Baku - Salyan highway through the "Lokbatan" interchange and passing through the "20 January" area or Yeni Yasamal.

Residents of the 20th district and Bail settlement are recommended to travel on the internal roads of the settlement via Gurban Abbasov Street, then along Teymur Elchin, Mehdi Huseyn, and Mikhail Lermontov Streets towards the city center.

Additionally, road users are asked to minimize the use of personal vehicles during the race period if possible and to travel in the central part of the city primarily using public transport," the road police information states.
