"Qarabag" made an important decision regarding Gurban Gurbanov

An end has been put to the various rumors that had been circulating recently about Gurban Gurbanov's departure from the football club "Qarabag."

As reported by sportinfo.az, the head coach, whose name had been mentioned in connection with several clubs from Turkey, Russia, and Europe, has made another important decision regarding his career.

It is noted that he will spend the next 3 years at the Agdam-based club.

The experienced specialist, who has been leading the "horsemen" since 2008, has signed a contract with the club until 2029. Under the new agreement, "Qarabag" has also increased Gurbanov's salary.

It should be recalled that G. Gurbanov has won the national championship 13 times with "Qarabag" and lifted the Azerbaijan Cup over his head 6 times.

This season, the team, which qualified for the Champions League for the second time, reached the playoff stage.
