II CIS Games: Azerbaijan takes the third gold in boxing

Azerbaijani young boxers won another gold at the III CIS Countries Games.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAC, in the weight category up to 52 kg, Ali Abasly won a confident victory over Kazakhstan's representative Edige Nurgozha, winning the gold medal.

Recall that earlier, Gardash Ragimov (46 kg) and Ali Aliyev (48 kg) won the highest award of the competition in their weight categories, who also won victories in the final matches.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAC, the representative of the Azerbaijan national team Gardash Ragimov (46 kg) won a confident victory in the final over Uzbek athlete Utkirbek Norkosimov, winning the gold medal.

In addition, in the weight category of 48 kg, Ali Aliyev also climbed to the top step of the podium, defeating Tajikistan's representative Azamjon Khasanov in the decisive bout.
