Azerbaijani judokas won two more medals in Austria
On the second day of the Grand Prix series tournament held in Linz, Austria, Azerbaijani judokas won two more medals.
As reported by BAKU.WS, both medals were won in the weight category up to 81 kg.
Vusal Galandarzade won the silver medal, and Omar Rajabli was awarded the bronze medal. In the final bout, Vusal sustained an injury and lost to Adilet Almata from Kazakhstan. Omar, in the match for third place, defeated Finnish judoka Eetu Ihanamäki.
It should be noted that the day before, Ruslan Pashaev (66 kg) won the tournament.
With a full set of medals, the Azerbaijani national team ranks third in the overall team standings among 59 countries, and holds first place among men.
