Will cars imported to Azerbaijan from abroad become more expensive? IMPORTANT STATEMENT

Growing tensions and military clashes between Iran and Israel in the Middle East are having a serious impact on international trade.

According to BAKU.WS, this situation may directly affect the cost of cars imported to Azerbaijan from China, UAE and other countries.

With increasing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and adjacent territories, the world's main trade routes are under threat. This leads to rising prices for both sea transportation and cargo insurance.

Transport expert Eldeniz Jafarov in a comment to BAKU.WS noted that there are alternative routes for cars supplied to Azerbaijan:

"There are certain delays in the import of cars supplied to Azerbaijan along the specified route. This is understandable, as there is a war in the region. However, this situation will not lead to an increase in the price of cars imported to Azerbaijan.

Because there are alternative routes. Cars can be supplied to Azerbaijan through China and Kazakhstan. At the same time, imports can be carried out through Russia and Black Sea ports. Cars can also be supplied to our country through Turkey and Georgia."
